The week ends, but the work goes on at home
Here is what happens once the week is over, with the evening group that carries on, the community evenings, the call we make a few days later and what it can be like to come home to people who were not there.

The last day and night, before you go home
Outside the course room the week is spent in silence, but on the last day and night we lift it. You get to talk freely with people you have shared a whole week with without exchanging a single everyday word, and most people remember that for a long time. You also get your phone back.
During that day and night you get a chance to land a little in company, together with the people who went through the same week as you, before everyday life takes over. What it can then feel like to come home is under Those who were not there may not understand.
Those who were not there may not understand
When you come home you carry a week in your body that no one at home has been through, and it is not certain that they will understand what has happened to you. Nor should they have to. Before you leave, we talk about exactly that: about being wise rather than right with those who were not there, about setting healthy boundaries, and about waiting at least six months before the bigger decisions in life. What has been set in motion needs time to settle, both in you and in your everyday life, before you know what you really want.
During the week your family could reach you through us if something was urgent. Now it is you who gets in touch with them.
The follow-up call
A few days after the course, one of the group leaders or course leaders calls you. That call is included, you do not need to ask for it.
And none of us expects you to have “solved” anything by the time you go home. What the week set in motion keeps working in you for weeks and months, at its own pace. If you need more than a call, here is where you can turn.
Three weeks with your evening group
During the week you have had an evening group, and we recommend that you keep meeting by video once a week for at least three weeks after the course. You simply keep sharing how you are doing, with people who know exactly where you are coming from.
Book all three before you go home, so that they are in the calendar when everyday life takes over. Whether you carry on beyond that is up to you, and many do.
The group goes on
Most people who have taken a course together start a group of their own to stay in touch, and that one is yours to run. We also have a shared group on Facebook, Vitaliseras community, for everyone who has ever taken a course with us, and you are welcome there.
Community evenings
A few weekday evenings each term, former participants meet by video, free of charge, for an hour to an hour and a half. The evenings are led by course leaders and group leaders from the team, and each one has a theme, such as how one of the leaders found their own way here, or what it is like to take Step 2.
You come as you are, without signing up. Do turn your camera on, as it makes for a very different kind of presence when everyone can see each other.
Certificate
Once you have completed the course you receive a certificate. If you want to show your employer what you have taken, that is what the certificate is for, and there is more to read on the page for employers.
